After firing his sling, the Hunter pulls back and jumps into the air for this incredibly smooth attack. Of course, with the coming update changing that, the developers noted during the reveal livestream that Sword and Shield will get some new moves updated with a Slinger attack, which you can see at the beginning of the video.
Now, to those familiar with Monster Hunter World before Iceborne, you already know that the Sword and Shield is the only weapon combo that allows you to use the Slinger with the weapon drawn.
